How does one totally erase the searches on Google?

Even when not signed in to google. Google is our default search?

click clear history
content tab--autocomplete--settings:
un check:
forms--addresses

Firefox:

tools--options--privacy tab-history:
un check:
remember visted pages
remember what i enter in forms & search bar

Google:
click preferences
choose preferences & save
click sign in [ create username ]
click web history
select pause history

At the top of your screen, there's a toolbar and all the way at the end, it says tools. Click on this and go down to internet options. Then you'll see browsing history in the middle of the screen that pops up. Click delete and on the next screen that pops up, click delete all. Nobody will ever know what you were searching for.

Well if you are using firefox

Well if you are using firefox go into your: Tools / Options / Privacy.
Make sure "Remember what I enter in forms and the search bar" is not checked off.

If you want to make something else your default search then go into Tools / Options / Main.
Where it says "Home Page" put whatever address you want in there. It should say google now.

You could also use a handy little Addon for firefox called Stealther. When you have that enabled in firefox none of your history/cache or searches are saved.

I would use somehting like ccleaner

that will delete all your temp internet files and cookies,

Or you could simply go to tools delete browsing history then delete all ( thats IE )
