How do I stop my previously typed searches showing in my safari browser on webpages like google?

Every time I go to fill in a box, a drop down list appears with my previous searches. For example, if I go to search in google, a list of my searches appears in a drop down box.

How do I disable this function?

Delete the google down-list

Delete the google down-list thing:

1.Click on the search field
2. Hover over the previously searched list
3. Press delete

It deletes the high-lighted search

Delete Browsing History:

1. Click on Tools
2. Click on Internet Options
3. Click on Clear History

Delete History:

1. Click on Tools
2. Click on Internet Options
3. Click on Delete Cookies

ok when u type in a letter and list will appear (using the keyboard) go down and then press the delete key (which is on ur keybord) tada there gone and i think if u delete ur history it will go away but no t sure about that

i think you can go down and press delete on the list and it wont happen anymore if that doesn't work clear some of your history cookies.
