How do I stop Google Desktop from trying to install itself when it's not wanted?
I keep getting a window saying, 'Google Desktop was unable to be installed,' everytime I attempt to connect to the internet or try to explore new sites.
It is gumming up the works and causing the process of starting my computer to take up to 15 minutes. It continues to try to install itself even when I'm on Yahoo Answers. I never asked for it.

Remove google toolbar and
Remove google toolbar and other programs from the control panel.
then do remove from start up folder also for that go to
start>run>msconfig>startup and uncheck all google entries.
