How can I keep my google desktop up when I turn on my computer?

I can't figure out how to keep my Google desktop up every time I turn on my computer. It will come on when I click on the icon in Programs but when I turn the computer off then on, it is gone!

Sounds like the computer doesn't have Google Desktop in the startups, and/or something is preventing it from becoming part of your startups.

Running "PC Decraptifier" (IIRC the name of the program correctly) will always remove Google Desktop from startups.

Try adding Google Desktop's EXE to Start>All Programs>Startup and that should fix for a while, at least.

In your start menu under

In your start menu under Programs you will see a "Startup" folder. If you copy the icon for any program to that folder, it will automatically start the program when you boot your computer.

Make it your "Home Page". In Windows open Internet Explorer->click Tools->Internet Options-> insert the URL of Google in the "Home Page" line. If you want it offline as a desktop picture, bring it on the screen, click "Print Screen"->Open MS Paint and click Edit-> Paste. Click File->Save As, name it and save to "My Documents" as a JPG or JPEG file. Close Paint and go to My documents and look for the name, Right click it and click "Save as Background".
